Privacy Policy

The Luigi Mangione Case File is part of the Court Daemon trial archive network, published by Court Daemon and built by Trice Digital. This policy explains what happens to information when you visit mangione.courtdaemon.com.
The short version
There are no accounts, no logins, no newsletter, no advertising, and no tracking cookies on this site. Nothing you do here is sold, rented, or shared with data brokers, and nothing follows you to other websites.
What is collected
Usage measurement. The site counts visits using privacy-friendly analytics that we run ourselves rather than a commercial advertising platform. It records the page viewed, the referring page, the browser and device type, and an approximate location derived from your network connection. It sets no cookie, assigns no persistent identifier, and cannot build a profile of you across other websites. The results are aggregate counts used to understand which parts of the Case File are useful and to keep the site working well.
Server logs. The site is hosted on Cloudflare's network. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request information, including IP addresses, to deliver pages and to protect the site from abuse and attack. That processing is governed by Cloudflare's own privacy policy.
What you send us. If you use the report form to send a correction, a bug report, a question, or a suggestion, we receive what you type along with the page you were on. The name field is optional and there is no email field. Please do not put sensitive personal information in that box. Reports are read so that the Case File can be corrected, and are kept only as long as that is useful.
Links to other sites
Every record here links out to the court, the prosecutor's office, or another named public source. Those are outside sites with their own privacy policies, and following a link takes you there. Nothing on this site is embedded from a third party, and no video, advertising, or social widget loads on these pages.
Children
The Case File is a public-record reference and is not directed to children under 13. No information is knowingly collected from them.

Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it.
